Good Theater is a professional nonprofit theater and the largest employer of Maine-based theater artists. We are dedicated to presenting high-quality theatrical productions that are entertaining, uplifting, and inspiring, using the best artists available.

After 21 years as the theater-in-residence at The Hill Arts, we have established a new home at the recently renovated Stevens Square Theater, located on the campus of the former McAuley High School in Portland, Maine. As the resident company and manager of all bookings, we are transforming the space into a vibrant cultural hub that fosters collaboration with local organizations and expands access to diverse, high-caliber performances for audiences across the state.
