Bite Night is Maine's premier short film festival known for throwing the best party above ground each year on the Friday before Halloween! With movies, food trucks, dance parties, local artists, artisans and live performers, all hosted at Maine Studio Works in downtown Portland, Bite Night's annual screening events are THE Halloween season event.

As a nonprofit organization, Bite Night’s focus is serving student, beginner, and low income filmmakers by offering affordable access to the global film festival circuit - offering the education and exposure of larger festivals to artists who are unable to buy their way in. At Bite Night, no one is ever priced out of sharing their art.
