I go out of my way to welcome newcomers to Portland because it's such a perfect environment to raise a family and enjoy the great outdoors and the arts community. I've lived in the Portland market for over 40 years (a thriving NY transplant) and in that time have come up through the ranks of all the major advertising agencies in Portland to now owning my own agency.
Bringing creativity to my clients is easy with the vast talent pool that exists in the Portland market, regardless of the project.
When I'm not working or exercising my foodie bones or pouring over great art in this city, I play the fiddle with Fiddleicious, a community band based in Falmouth. As we like to say, "Taste the music!"
Why did you choose Portland? Discovered that Portlanders are extremely helpful with sharing resources, and who wouldn't want to live in mini Boston by choice?
What do you like to do with out-of-towners? Proudly share Portland's vast foodie experiences, the beautiful coastline, bay cruises, favorite shops and hidden treasures that only we Portlanders know about.
What's the most surprising thing about this city? The dedication and vibrance of the arts community.
What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Cherry pie at Two Fat Cats Bakery AND whipped honey at Trader Joe's.
What's the most under-appreciated place or thing in town? Deering Oaks Park
Describe your perfect night—and the following morning—in Portland. Walking downtown to a wonderful restaurant in a sun dress and shawl to enjoy wonderous courses and impeccable service. Next morning take the same walk in jeans to enjoy the rich aroma of great coffee on the way to the Farmer's Market.
My work is collected both locally and internationally. I've been educating art students in New England since the Millennium.
I teach strength, empowerment and self expression through movement with Dance, Buti and Yoga.
