Why did you choose Portland? I grew up in a little town in central Maine and have since traveled the world. Even after all of the places I've been, Portland still speaks to me like no other place. The people, food, culture... there is the perfect balance of ocean and mountains. Its the perfect home base.
What do you like to do with out-of-towners? I like to take outsiders to see the sights, walking the eastern trail, checking out Mackworth Island, strolling around the Old Port.
Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? I love sunrise bike rides along the eastern trail.
Describe your perfect night—and the following morning—in Portland. A backyard BBQ with friends in the West End followed by brunch or a homemade breakfast the next morning.
