SEEKING ARTIST DESIGNS FOR CULTURAL APP

Ongoing

Thanks to a Maine Arts Commission CCED 2 implementation matching grant award, Creative Portland is developing a cultural app, a digital marketing tool, to increase access to the arts and to promote Portland's cultural life. We'll be including local art, photos, and images to help create this special gem - a Portland-unique guide to the arts, made possible by our tech wizards at Yarn Corporation. All in the palm of your hand.

At this phase, we are seeking artists to illustrate splash screens and to help create Augmented Reality experiences. If you are a painter, illustrator, printmaker, dancer, or musician, send us 3-5 original work samples and a CV/Resume to submissions@creativeportland.com with the subject "Work Samples for Cultural App." Be sure to include your full name, address, phone number, and any social media/website information. We are prioritizing artists who live or work in the Greater Portland Area.

We will be in touch if we believe your work is a good match for the cultural app. Selected artists will be commissioned by Creative Portland to create a variety of media.  Email us or call us at 207-370-4784 if you have any questions.
