**MAINE MUSIC WEEKEND FESTIVAL 
September 5-7, 2025**

**A new event!**

We’re doing something different! And it’s FUN! Creative Portland is especially excited about embracing Portland’s famous local music scene and we want to invite you all (tourists, visitors & locals) to celebrate with us!

The inaugural Maine Music Weekend Festival will take place the weekend after Labor Day and will debut in Portland Maine on September 5-7, 2025.

We will be promoting and celebrating all the exciting choices happening in Portland’s music clubs, concert arenas, alternative venues and more. It’s kind of like restaurant week, but we’re promoting our treasured clubs and music venues.

Look for an updated  “Candy Land” chart of music-centric events on a big flyer poster all over town.


Concerts, dates/times and venues will be added to our “Candy Land” chart by August 5th so you will have a month to plan out which venue to attend on which night. We are also including breweries with live music! There is something for everybody!

If you haven’t been to [**Hear Here**](https://www.creativeportland.com/hear-here) before, it’s an unforgettable Portland event showcasing exceptional Maine talent and representing diverse artistic genres in a LIVE variety show production. All are welcome! Community waivers will be provided! 

We understand that LIVE music and club concerts can be expensive. To be more inclusive, and to avoid an elite, concert-going experience, we want to offer you access.
