Yes. Life's Good Here

November Greetings from Executive Director Dinah Minot

The cold air monster is here and elections are coming up soon. Vote for arts advocates to support the creative economy. Creativity leads to connectivity and productivity. Creative minds make the world a better place. Your daily advocacy and support for the arts makes a huge difference. The U.S. Senate voted in favor of an increase for the NEA last August, including $155 million for both the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities. We are proud that Portland's own Congresswoman, Chellie Pingree, now serves as the Co-Chair of the Arts Caucus. Mark your calendars to join Americans for the Arts for Arts Advocacy Day as part of the National Arts Action Summit on March 4-5, 2019!  It's that time of year when we are reaching out for donations to Creative Portland so we can continue to be a clearinghouse of information and support for the arts & cultural life of Portland.
