Come join to celebrate light on one of the darkest days of the year! We will welcome Santa Lucia with her crown of candles, joined by children bringing song and light into the darkness of winter.

MSA’s annual holiday event celebrates the Danish Lutheran origins of our venue.

In Sweden, Saint Lucia Day (or Sankta Lucia) is December’s holiday of light - a sacred day that commemorates St Lucia, a young Christian martyr who died for her faith. According to the legends, St Lucia wore a wreath laden with candles, so she could fill her hands with food that she would secretly deliver to Christian's in hiding in the Roman catacombs under the city.
