A classic tale of a princess cursed by an evil fairy to sleep for a hundred years before being awakened by a handsome prince, The Sleeping Beauty has captured hearts and imaginations for years through many retellings. 
Experience a musical journey of beloved fairy tales as Portland Ballet joins the PSO for this special performance, featuring Tchaikovsky’s Suite from The Sleeping Beauty, along with other beloved dance selections. Discovery Concerts are designed for families with children ages 4-12, but are enjoyable for all. Come early to meet PSO musicians and enjoy pre-concert activities, including the Instrument Petting Zoo, starting at 1:00 pm.
