Alma June and the Persian cats: Alma june and the Persian cats is an eclectic amalgamation of genres. Alma writes relatable and wrenching lyrics with a jazzy vocal style and classical inspired guitar. Dravyn lays down complex and freely floating beats. Moments of baroque, neo romanticism, and experimental art song peppers Scott’s viola lines. Nick brings speedy and virtuosic melodies on guitar. Matt brings a familiar complex jazz bass sound with moments of classical bowing while David, the seasoned trombonist, lends us a droning low end and unique multi phonics.


Opening for Alma June is Luc Anthony. Luc Anthony is a young vocalist and guitarist from Gorham, Maine. He is known in the Maine music scene as the frontman for the Alternative Rock/ Metal band, One Hundred Thorns. In his free time, he writes dramatic acoustic music in various experimental tunings and structures. These songs have been somewhat of a hidden secret to the world, all written in a span of the past 6 or so years. Now he plans to record and release music on his own while also continuing with One Hundred Thorns.
