In this workshop, you will learn how to apply opaque vitreous glass enamels and cloisonné wire to copper surfaces. Enamel sifting and firing techniques will include sugar firing, application of metallic lusters, enameling on curved, formed surfaces, wet-packing vitreous enamel, and manipulating silver cloisonné wire. 

Participants do not need prior enameling experience, though a basic understanding of metalsmithing and bench jewelry skills is helpful, though not required.
