205 Ocean Avenue Assoc. & Studios presents (im)material, a solo exhibition by Sami Cutrona and opening reception on Friday, November 6th from 3pm to 6pm.

(im)material is a consideration of materiality as it bears on both the body and the means of its representation. The subtle dialectics of selfhood and performative constructs converge, finding resonance in the realm of portraiture as an exploration of the mercurial nature of identity.

Sami Cutrona (b. Bethlehem, PA) is a multidisciplinary artist working in sculpture, photography, and related media. Cutrona’s work is shaped by the locus and limits of their queer experience.
