Nashville based Acclaimed Singer/Songwriter Dana Cooper is a poetic songwriter, an insightful storyteller, and a rousing musician whose performances engage & inspire audiences around the world. Central to Cooper's unique artistry is his ability to connect with audiences through his authentic stories, sense of humor and warm stage presence.

His vast career started with his 1st self-titled Release on Elektra Records in the 70's. The studio band consisting of legendary players - "The Section" with Leland Sklar & Russ Kunkel AKA "The Immediate Family." In the late 70's Dana moved to Texas to be in a band with Shake Russell, releasing several albums together and performing on "Austin City Limits". His move to Nashville produced collaborations with several established artists - Kim Carnes (Betty Davis Eye's), Don Henry, Hal Ketchum, Kim Richey, Tom Kimmel & more. 

"The Ghost of Tucumcari" is Dana's 32nd latest release. It has received Rave Reviews in American Songwriter, Glide Magazine, M Music Magazine, Americana Highways online and more. The Album features Lyle Lovett, Hayes Carll, Susan Gibson, Libby Koch, Shake Russell, Darden Smith & more.
