Discover the creative possibilities of clay surfaces through the playful use of colored slips. We'll experiment with layering, carving, brushing, and mark-making to create rich textures and vibrant designs - perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike. See how simple techniques can transform the surface of clay into something truly unique.

This class is all about curiosity, creativity, and having fun while you explore new ideas. At the end, your pieces will be finished with a clear glaze, making them food-safe and ready to use or display. During the last 1 hour class, we'll share our finished pieces, celebrate, and pack up our work to take home.

You will also have access to an additional weekly open studio session, where an Ed. Tech. will be on hand to support your process and answer questions as you continue creating.
