Ready to think big? Join us for 8 weeks of hands-on clay exploration—whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned maker looking to dive into earthenware. You'll start small, then work your way up to creating a large sculptural or functional piece in warm, rich terra cotta (for example, a large garden pot, birdbath, or an interesting sculpture for indoor or outdoor).
Along the way, you'll learn a variety of hand-building and surface decorating techniques, plus get an intro to glazes, low-fire processes, and smart studio practices. We’ll even cover kiln loading if time allows.
Each week includes an extra open studio evening with an Ed Tech on hand to support your ideas and answer questions.
In week 9, we’ll celebrate your finished work with munchies and a casual showcase, and help you pack up your creations to take home.
