In this workshop you’ll learn strategies to set up your ceramic work space in a way that supports you! We will talk through general body mechanics, “movement snacks” to use while you’re working at the studio, home “play” that supports your body outside of the studio, and general holistic practices that support longevity and sustainability as a maker with clay.

You’ll go home with tools you can use to release tension that builds up in the body, a document of stretches and body practices specifically supportive for ceramic artist patterns, and imaginative practices you can incorporate into your studio time that can shift the quality of your practice.

This is a monthly offering (scheduled for the last Sunday of each month) and is limited to 8 students. It will be held in the Downstairs Studio at the 118 Wash Ave Studio location.
