Job Director of Digital Design / MaineToday Media
Lives In North Deering (Portland)
Upon graduating from the Maine College of Art, I tried hard to shed the barnacles and scrub the scent of lobster from my skin by putting as many miles as possible between myself and my home state of Maine. I've worked as graphic designer for small agencies in New York City, as an Art Director for large PR firms in Los Angeles and as an independent musician and filmmaker in the desert of New Mexico. But in all that time, in all of those places, I never felt the sense of community that I felt in Portland, Maine. There are very few places in the world where the people, businesses and culture embrace the arts as fiercely and enthusiastically as Portland. Whether you love theater, film, music or food (good God the food!) – Portland is where it's at.
Life is a colorful palette, giving a creative sixth sense to looking at the world around us.
I paint things that are important to people and I help small businesses get found online.
My work is with paint as much as it is with the creative minds of Maine's foremost art students.
