Lives In Alfred

I moved to Maine from NYC with my husband in 2005. We were looking for a better life, and we certainly found it. Early careers as a modern dancer, a photo editor, a baker and a bookseller brought me to the point in my life where all I want to do is play with fiber and textiles.  I've only been here for eight years but I'm about to start my second business. Maine has allowed me the space to create in a really surprising way.  The space is in my home, my work, my friendships, but most importantly, it's in my head. If you've got an idea here, and the will to see it through, chances are you will.
