I like creating images, telling stories, eating desserts, and helping people along the way. I also like boats.
Lives In Downtown
I have a BFA from Penn State University and just graduated from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies here in Portland. I love photography and I love being involved in service work, especially involving child advocacy and education. I have experience working with non-profits and would love to be a storyteller for organizations that are doing great work here in Portland.
Why did you choose Portland? I came here to study at the Salt Institute and decided to stay. I love being surrounded by water and boats after growing up in a land locked state (Pennsylvania). It's the first place that's felt a little like home to me since leaving my heart in State College, PA.
Who are Portlanders you admire and why? Donna Galluzzo, because she is incredibly dedicated to us Salties and also because she's just an awesome person.
Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Mornings in Paris, especially if they have eclairs.
What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? see above.
Describe your perfect night—and the following morning—in Portland. If I'm in a dancing mood....Bubba's Sulky Lounge. How can you not like a light up dance floor? If I'm not in a dancing mood....hang out on the Eastern Prom when the weather's nice. And in the morning, there is never a time when I'm NOT in a waffle mood, preferably with lots of strawberries and whipped cream.
I use my twin identity as an artist and writer to create work for commercial and editorial clients.
