Lives In The West End

Why did you choose Portland? I love the Holy Donut! and the view is pretty damn nice

Who are Portlanders you admire and why? Michele Michael of Elephant ceramics is my dear friend and amazing artist/ceramicist. Lari Washburn in Wiscasset is an incredible painter and beautiful human being. Susan Grisanti is an amazing force to be reckoned with and so many more. I am inspired by so many here in Portland!

What do you like to do with out-of-towners? There is never enough time, Portland has so much to offer and then all the places along the coast, we have not been here long enough to know what to do so we usually just drive and eat, taking it all in, literally!

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Five Islands Lobster and Reid State Park and Chase's Daily in Belfast.

What's the most surprising thing about this city? How cosmopolitan it is and how much the people who live here love their city!

What's the most under-appreciated place or thing in town? The history of this magical place.
