Lives In Old Port

Growing up on an island off the coast can be difficult at times, but it sure teaches you lessons in patience time and time again. Whether I am back in my hometown on the island, or working/playing in Portland, being able to see the ocean every day is truely a blessing. I am so thankful to be able to call Maine my home.

Why did you choose Portland? I have always been drawn to Portland. As a teenager, I frequented the city for various concerts. When I landed an internship with a company in Portland, I felt that I had really found where I needed to be.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? After trying one bite of the fried brussels sprouts from the Blue Rooster on Canal Street, I was hooked. Though I have been trying to mimic the recipe, I cannot even come close. The Blue Rooster is my go-to every time I am looking for a bite to eat in Portland.
