Having spent most of my career in the Hospitality Industry I understand the challenges owners face in attracting and retaining the highest quality of employee. As a full time hospitality professional I also understand the stresses of not having benefits available.

I help independent restaurants to put in place affordable Life & Health Employee Benefits because Happier employees make for Happier guests!

When I am not working I spend my time enjoying all Maine has to offer with my husband and our two year old daughter. We LOVE Cresent Beach and Joe's Boat house!!!

Why did you choose Portland? I grew up here, but moved to Boston right after high school. I came back 14 years later to slow things down and be closer to family. I also wanted to start my own family and always knew that I didn't want to do that in the city.

What do you like to do with out-of-towners? I make it a point to not only show them our beautiful coastal beaches, but lakes and mountains also. There's a little something here for everyone!

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Goose Rocks Beach is one of my favorites, but really any day at a beach is a good day.

What's the most surprising thing about this city? How tightknit the community really is.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Steamers at Jay's Oyster Bar, Steak Tartar at David's and Crab Cakes Benedict at Bayside American Café.

Describe your perfect night—and the following morning—in Portland. Dinner at the Old Port Sea Grill followed by a night cap at MJ's Wine Bar. Frog and Turtle for brunch in the morning. It's in Westbrook, but well worth the travel!
