I make & manage creative communications

Job Photojournalist / Communications Manager / Self / Maine Historical Society

Lives In Rosemont

After 13 years in NYC, I moved to Portland in 2013 and never looked back (unless visiting friends and family). I take photos -- for individuals, organizations and media outlets -- oversee communications for Maine Historical Society and produce digital content for several local organizations. Since moving to Maine I've learned to play the piano, drive a boat, tie sailing knots, fire a rifle, fell a tree, design a magazine cover, grow a garden and raise a baby.

Why did you choose Portland? It's everything I want in a city, surrounded by some of the best nature experiences anywhere.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Inside a bowl of Tokyo Abura ramen at Pai Men Miyake.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Bagels at Scratch Baking (one of the very few things I'll voluntarily wait in line for).
