I Help You Tell Your Story One Post At A Time
Job Specialty DJ / Music Promotion / Marketing Consultant / Ocean Gate Realty
Lives In Scarborough
I began my career as a DJ in 1988 and play music from all around the world, Rock to Jazz and Hip-hop to House. I'm wildly eclectic. If it's funky and has a soul, I'm in! In 1995 I began a career as a National Director of Promotion for an Indie label in New York City. Eventually, I graduated to the National Director of Radio Promotion for various Major and Independent record companies. Some of the artists I have promoted include Gloria Estefan, George Michael, Celine Dion, Donna Summer, and Jamiroquai. In 2005 I began my career in Real Estate and currently hold a license with Ocean Gate Realty in the heart of the Arts District. My online presence and marketing landed me a job working as a real estate consultant for two seasons of "Buying and Selling" with the Property Brothers on HGTV. Most recently I formed Above and Beyond Marketing Strategies. I can help anyone looking to commit to a more intentional and proactive marketing strategy, tell their story one post at a time. We do this through social media, blogging, direct mail campaigns, and sphere of influence marketing. I love Portland Maine! You can often find me hanging out in the Arts District or eating at one of our many fantastic restaurants. The community and soul of Portland are unique. Experience them for yourself!
Why did you choose Portland? I'm used to being near a big city and need to have a balance between city and suburban life. Portland is such a great mix of people and it's overflowing with creative minds. I'm also a real estate broker and wanted to work in a city that has incredible architecture and history.
Who are Portlanders you admire and why? I love the creative people that make Portland unique. From the arts to beer, and dining, we have some of the countries best.
What do you like to do with out-of-towners? I'm a fan of getting the touristy things out of the way immediately and taking people off the beat and path. I want them to experience the real Portland and what it has to offer beyond Lobster Rolls.
What's the most surprising thing about this city? Parking enforcement, they are so quick to throw a boot on your car for an expired meter.
What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Dining-out. The possibilities are endless and there is something for everyone. If I had to choose one favorite it would be Isa in the Bayside neighborhood at the moment.
