Lives In Cumberland
I am a father, grandfather, musician, wine and advertising guy.
I love my daughter and my grandsons.
I love playing music. It is by far the one real thing I can depend on in my life. I've been doing it since I was ten. The two bands I am in are very different. Gunther Brown is often described as Americana, alt country and numerous other things. It is just really good music. My other band, Serious Rooms is heavily early British Rock influenced. Both are original bands filled with amazingly thoughtful, fun, creative people. I am very fortunate.
I love wine. Not just drinking it. I have been involved in the wine industry on and off for about 30 years. I read about it. I have written about it and I have sold copious amounts of it. I have also educated scores of people about it and feel there is constantly more to learn. If I were a ten year old, this would be my dinosaur. I am also an amateur mycologist which is often described as having mushroom fever. I could spend weeks in the woods looking for mushrooms.
To make all of this possible, which is what so many of us are faced with in Maine, I work a day job. I sell advertising for a very fine magazine. I love the magazine I work for but I especially love people and the contact and relationships that my job allows me to have.
Life is a colorful palette, giving a creative sixth sense to looking at the world around us.
I orchestrate a laboratory and training ground for the international contemporary dance community.
