Angela Lee Smith

Madly in love with creating vector art and design.

Job Designer/founder / Lucka Creative

Lives In Rosemont

I made my way up to Portland about six years ago from Boston, where I studied commercial art and design. For many years I worked in advertising, design and marketing. My passion has always been in consulting/freelancing for start-up businesses and non-profits.

Today, I am working on building my business Lucka Creative, designing for, and branding many Maine-based and national businesses. Right now, I can also be found designing advertising & marketing collateral as a consultant for the Amtrak Downeaster.

Aside from work- I love Irish hard-shoe dancing, playing cello, hockey, my kitties, and being politically active for animal rights.

Why did you choose Portland? The first time I visited friends in Portland, I fell in love-the small friendly community, rich in creative culture. How could you not love it here?

Who are Portlanders you admire and why? Everyone has their own creative style that inspires me.
